About The Position

La Petite Academy is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote each child’s achievement and support the center’s success.
