About The Position

La Petite Academy of Mesquite is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, following licensing guidelines and company standards, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The position requires engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow and maintain expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
