About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. Lead Teachers build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position is with Children’s Courtyard of Suwanee, part of Learning Care Group, Inc. The company provides early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, using research-based curricula in safe, nurturing, and engaging environments.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.
