About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures familiarity with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. This position is part of a childcare organization focused on early childhood education, with programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
