About The Position

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to create and guide engaging learning experiences for preschool children while mentoring fellow Teachers. The Lead Teacher supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and follows applicable licensing guidelines and company standards. The role also involves building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success. Candidates should be energetic, dependable, and passionate, and be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.
