Lead Teacher-La Petite Academy on Polaris Parkway
About The Position
Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher at La Petite Academy on Polaris Parkway. The role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences, supporting preschool children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures the classroom follows applicable licensing guidelines and company standards. The position requires someone who is at least 18, dependable, energetic, and passionate about working with children. The teacher must be able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activities with children. Compensation is $16.56–$17.20, based on position, education, and experience. Pay options include bi-weekly and daily pay. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities
- Develop fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Maintain expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
