About The Position

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschool children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, following licensing guidelines and company standards, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and engages in physical activities with children indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
