About The Position

Childtime of Stone Mtn is hiring a Lead Teacher to create interactive learning experiences, mentor fellow teachers, and support preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Lead Teacher manages the classroom, implements curriculum, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with current and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDA, TCC, AA, or BA degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center’s success.
