About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates engaging, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and ensures familiarity with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. Teachers work with children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment and support holistic child development through a research-based curriculum.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- CDA, TCC, AA, or BA degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
