About The Position

Childtime of Monroe is hiring a Lead Teacher to support children’s learning and development in a child care center. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, mentoring fellow teachers, promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, managing the classroom, implementing curriculum, and following licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
