Lead Teacher, Childtime of Colonie
About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position is with Childtime of Colonie, part of Learning Care Group, Inc. The company provides early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, using a research-based curriculum in safe, nurturing, and engaging environments.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
