About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position is part-time at La Petite Academy of Tyrone. It requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. Learning Care Group describes its early education programs as research-based and designed to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
