About The Position

This is a Lead Teacher position at Childtime on Kempsville Road. The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
