About The Position

Pathways Learning Academy at Willow Creek Church is hiring a Lead Teacher to create and lead engaging learning experiences for preschool children. The role supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth while mentoring fellow Teachers. The Lead Teacher manages the classroom, implements the curriculum, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position involves engaging in physical activity with children and working indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and implement the curriculum.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
