About The Position
The Lead Teacher at Pathways Learning Academy at National Church creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, maintains expertise in applicable licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The position involves engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
- Mentor fellow teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Ensure adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children's achievement and support the center's success.
