About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success. The position requires engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
