About The Position

Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring an Early Child Care Lead Teacher to teach infants, toddlers, and preschoolers using a play-based curriculum that introduces children to the world beyond their community. The role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, building relationships with families, sharing children’s milestones through electronic daily reports, and following enhanced safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe classroom. Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
South Carolina Child Care Credential or CDA.
At least six months of licensed childcare experience.
Ability to stand six to eight hours daily and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend while working with children.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Early Childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred.
At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop rapport with families daily.
