About The Position

Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring an Early Child Care Assistant Teacher to work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The role offers full-time and part-time positions. The Assistant Teacher works with the Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities and help ensure the classroom runs smoothly, partners with families to nurture and care for children, uses electronic daily tracking to document milestones, and follows enhanced safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe classroom. The academy describes a teamwork-oriented, inclusive work community and offers on-the-job training and career development opportunities from Assistant Teacher through Center Director.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have demonstrated experience working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
• Early childhood coursework, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or a degree.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities and ensure the classroom functions smoothly.
