About The Position

Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring an Assistant Teacher to work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The role supports the Lead Teacher in facilitating daily activities and keeping the classroom functioning smoothly, partners with families to nurture and care for children, documents children’s milestones using electronic daily tracking, and follows enhanced safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe classroom. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have demonstrated experience working with children.
Be able to stand for six to eight hours daily and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend while working with children.
Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Be able to visually supervise children at all times.
Successfully complete the background check, pre-hire screenings, and onboarding processes.

Nice To Haves

Child care, daycare, or preschool experience is preferred.
Early childhood coursework, a CDA, or a degree is preferred.
