About The Position

Associa is seeking a Lead Security Attendant to help maintain the overall security of its property at 1400 South Shoreline Blvd / Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, Texas. The role involves preventing theft, vandalism, property damage, violence, and safety violations; monitoring and protecting the premises; and remaining alert to potential risks. The attendant may patrol the property, monitor visitors and deliveries, provide guests and tenants with information and directions, enforce parking regulations, and help protect people and property from fire and other hazards. The position also responds to alarms and emergencies, including communicating with emergency personnel.

Requirements

Knowledge of state or local governmental safety requirements.
Proficient knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
Professional customer service skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Proficient ability to interpret and complete verbal and/or written instructions.
Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
Make periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
Greet incoming guests and tenants and provide information about the site and surrounding area as requested.
Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence, or rule and safety violations.
Perform fire prevention, safety, and maintenance tasks, as well as parking and traffic enforcement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
