About The Position

Associa is seeking a Lead Security Attendant to maintain the overall security of a property in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role involves preventing theft, vandalism, property damage, violence, and safety violations; monitoring and protecting the premises; responding to alarms and emergencies; and helping guests and tenants with information and directions. Security officers may patrol the property, monitor access and deliveries, enforce parking and traffic rules, and help protect occupants from fire risks and other hazards. They must remain alert to potential risks and communicate with emergency personnel when needed. The position also involves inspecting protection devices and fire-control equipment, performing fire-prevention, safety, and maintenance tasks, and carrying out other duties as assigned. Requirements

Knowledge of state or local governmental safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
Conduct periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire-control equipment.
Greet incoming guests and tenants and provide requested information about the site and surrounding area.
Guard and monitor the premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence, and rule or safety violations.
Perform fire-prevention, safety, and maintenance tasks.
Enforce parking and traffic regulations.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Assist with property access monitoring, visitor sign-in and sign-out, and monitoring incoming deliveries, as applicable.
Communicate with emergency personnel and respond to safety threats.
