About The Position

The Security Lead supervises and guides security personnel in performing their duties and provides training to team members assigned to their shift. The role is responsible for the overall security of patrons, employees, and company assets, while setting an example in performance, dependability, customer service, and personal appearance. The Security Lead also completes scheduling and personnel documentation, addresses subordinate concerns, ensures incident reporting and communication, supports other departments, and provides emergency response as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and direction to security personnel on proper procedures and duties.
Train security personnel assigned to the shift.
Help ensure the security of patrons, employees, and company assets.
Set an example in performance, dependability, customer service, and personal appearance.
Complete weekly schedules, tardy and absenteeism forms, and barrment forms as necessary.
Resolve subordinate problems and conflicts through counseling or disciplinary action.
Ensure incident reports are completed properly and pertinent information is passed on.
Communicate with managers, supervisors, surveillance, and law enforcement agencies as needed.
Provide assistance and support to other departments as needed.
Provide first response to medical incidents.
Conduct evacuations and crowd control if necessary.
Conduct bomb searches if necessary.
Direct emergency situations when necessary.
Attend meetings with the department manager and fellow supervisors to provide input and share information.
Perform security officer or dispatch duties as needed or requested.
Attend training as scheduled.
