Lead Sales Associate/Membership Advisor

About The Position

The Lead Sales Associate/Membership Advisor, also referred to as the Member Consultant, helps run front-of-house fitness studio operations while creating a warm, fun, and community-oriented environment. The role is with an independently owned and operated Orangetheory Fitness franchise. The Member Consultant helps grow the studio’s membership base and supports people in pursuing their health and fitness goals. The position is suited to an outgoing, energetic sales professional who enjoys fitness, customer service, and working as part of a team. Compensation includes hourly pay, commission, and bonus potential, with opportunities for raises and promotion.

Requirements

Previous sales experience and strong sales skills.
At least 2 years of customer service experience.
At least 2 years of sales experience.
Experience working in a quota-bearing structure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Energetic, positive, and upbeat attitude; outgoing and comfortable talking with people.
Drive to succeed and willingness to do what it takes to meet goals.
Interest in fitness and helping people improve their lives.
Ability to attend two Orangetheory classes per week.
Functional computer skills.
Flexibility to work day, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Availability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in developing responsibility and leadership skills.
Proven record of meeting sales quotas or succeeding in an inside or outside sales position.
Fitness industry experience.
Health- and fitness-minded outlook.
Experience with fitness membership sales.
Undergraduate degree.
Excel skills.
