About The Position

The Lead Retail Stylist supervises Retail Stylists in daily store operations, provides direction where needed, and serves as an example of superior customer service. This role acts as a product expert, educating and informing customers and helping them find products for any occasion. The Lead Retail Stylist represents the BYLT brand and supports effective store operations.

Requirements

Previous retail and supervisory experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to use technology effectively while engaging with customers and the team to meet goals.
Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues or concerns courteously and professionally.
Basic information-gathering skills for problem-solving.
Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
Dependability.
Ability to perform the essential duties, including occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Guide and assist Retail Stylists with daily operational tasks.
Assist customers with shopping needs and transactions.
Complete merchandising tasks using planograms.
Perform proper receiving and stocking procedures.
Count and reconcile cash register drawers.
Prepare deposits and order change from the bank.
Regularly inspect store inventory and remove or rotate products according to the Product Freshness Review Schedule.
Maintain a safe, clean, and pleasing environment for customers and associates.
Design a monthly schedule and assign work to support an efficient workflow.
Establish and create standard operating procedure guidelines for daily retail operations.
Set sales goals and motivate the team.
