Lead Product Manager - GTM Strategy

Rapid7Boston, MA
$156,200 - $211,400

About The Position

Rapid7 is looking for a Lead Product Manager, GTM Strategy to help shape how our products are priced, packaged, positioned, and brought to market across the portfolio. This is a rare seat: broad enough to touch every product we sell, close enough to the numbers to change them, and visible enough that your recommendations land in front of senior leadership. If you like turning ambiguous commercial questions into clear, defensible decisions and then making sure those decisions actually get executed - this is the role. About the Team The GTM Strategy team sits within Rapid7's Product organization and operates at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Finance. We are the connective tissue between what we build and how we sell it. About the Role As a Lead Product Manager, GTM Strategy, your primary responsibility will be to own commercial strategy workstreams that span Rapid7's full product portfolio. Specifically, your focus will be to: Define product-value metrics in collaboration with RevOps and Finance to drive portfolio pricing strategy, build value-based pricing models, and recommend changes that balance adoption, growth, and margin. Partner with product managers across every product family to shape offer structure, bundling, and commercial design for both new launches and existing products. Establish and execute the recurring commercial operating cadence for the portfolio, reviewing ARR, ASP, attach rates, and discounting discipline to turn reporting into decisions. Lead cross-functional GTM workstreams end-to-end by framing problems, building quantitative analysis, driving alignment, securing decisions, and seeing them through to execution. Develop portfolio-level commercial strategy by assessing where to invest, simplify, or consolidate, and quantifying the revenue and operational implications. Translate commercial models into enterprise CPQ and systems architecture alongside RevOps, providing expert input on repeatable tools, dashboards, and calculators. Provide expert advice on pricing guidance, deal structure, and operational mechanics in partnership with Sales Enablement, Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance. Measure commercial changes against defined KPIs, monitor competitor pricing models with Product Marketing, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrate strong quantitative and financial modeling skills with the judgment to focus on analysis that changes business decisions.
  • Work directly with data using SQL, modern data warehouse tooling, BI platforms, and advanced spreadsheet modeling to source and interrogate metrics.
  • Apply a builder's instinct to operationalize analysis through dashboards, internal tools, calculators, or prototypes.
  • Demonstrate decision-making ability by making efficient decisions that resolve challenges, enable momentum, and integrate diverse perspectives.
  • Navigate change and ambiguity by acting as an active driver of evolving business needs and maintaining momentum forward.
  • Exercise strategic doing by thinking big and acting small, breaking larger goals into time-bound milestones, and executing quickly.
  • Communicate clearly in a manner that conveys objectives and rationale to foster commitment from executive and field audiences.
  • Maintain a high degree of ownership, accountability, and bias to action on a cross-functional team where priorities shift.
  • Embody our core values to foster a culture of excellence that drives meaningful impact and collective success.
