About The Position

BrightPath Kids, formerly The Children's House and part of the BrightPath Kids and Busy Bees global childcare community, is hiring a full-time Lead Preschool Teacher in Streetsboro, Ohio. The role provides care and education for children in one assigned classroom, working alongside teachers and families according to NAEYC guidelines. The advertised pay is $16–$20 per hour. The teacher will create developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities tailored to children's interests and learning styles, maintain a warm, clean, and safe classroom, supervise children, and communicate and partner with families to support each child's care and education.

Requirements

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Career Pathway Level 3, or a bachelor's degree in any field.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized.
Ability to work within regular operating hours.
Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one assigned classroom.
Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
Develop programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore.
Partner with families to create plans that provide appropriate care and education for their children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
