About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Lead Preschool Teacher in Streetsboro, Ohio. The Lead Teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in the care of one assigned classroom, following NAEYC guidelines. The role includes caring for and supervising children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, planning developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and maintaining a safe, welcoming classroom environment. The teacher partners with families to support each child’s care and education and communicates with parents and guardians about their child.

Requirements

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Career Pathway Level 3, or a bachelor’s degree in any field.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized.
Ability to work within regular operating hours.
Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one assigned classroom.
