About The Position
La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The teacher is also expected to mentor fellow teachers and follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience. The listed Lead Teacher pay range is $19.56–$20.32. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending account coverage; limited medical coverage is offered to part-time employees. Education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, and a child care discount are available to all employees. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
Responsibilities
