About The Position
The Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher provides daily care and education for children in an early childhood classroom. The teacher follows licensing guidelines and company standards, observes and assesses children, plans learning activities, and communicates with families. The role includes completing training on child care, preschool, and child development, and implementing the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The position requires engaging in physical activity with children and working indoors or outdoors.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
- A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
- Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunization, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in the classroom.
- Observe and assess children and plan for their development.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
- Implement the company’s proprietary curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences.
