About The Position

Tia is seeking a Lead Physician (MD/DO) to lead their Silver Lake clinic. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants to expand their leadership scope while remaining involved in direct patient care. The Lead Physician will partner with operations to mentor the team, champion clinical excellence, and enhance the patient and provider experience. This is a "Player-Coach" position, with approximately 95% of the time dedicated to direct clinical care, leading by example and using frontline insights for team development and continuous improvement. Tia offers protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration, including dedicated management time. They also provide AI-supported documentation to reduce charting burden, beautiful clinic spaces, quarterly bonuses, equity, and the opportunity to shape a new model for women's healthcare.

Requirements

  • MD/DO; Board Certified in FM, IM
  • Active CA License and DEA
  • 3+ years in outpatient primary care
  • Experience in Women’s Health (routine gyn, contraception, STIs)
  • Experience in Mental Health
  • Experience in inclusive, patient-centered care
  • 1+ years leading clinicians (direct or indirect)
  • Data-driven and adaptable
  • Comfortable collaborating with Operations to balance clinical quality with workflow efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care, setting the clinical standard and acting as a model for Tia’s care philosophy.
  • Own clinical outcomes and documentation consistency within the clinic, ensuring high-touch and high-quality care.
  • Act as the clinical point person for complex patient cases or team issues, resolving challenges with sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Partner closely with operations to lead and develop a high-performing provider team, driving engagement, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate on operational workflows to ensure a seamless experience for patients and clinical staff.
  • Use data-driven insights and patient feedback to identify clinical gaps and implement improvements.
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing mentorship of new providers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
