About The Position

ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a dedicated Family Medicine trained primary care physician to join our growing practice in Hockessin, Delaware. This position involves leading a team of 2 physicians and 2 NPs. The patient demographics include Internal Medicine for patients over 18 years old and Family Medicine for all ages. There is an opportunity to build upon the current patient panel, which includes a small pediatric population (age 0+). The role requires 36 patient-facing hours, with 4 optional telehealth hours, and 4 hours of admin time. There is flexibility for one virtual day per week by combining admin and telehealth time. The call schedule is shared among the team, with a 1:10 ratio.

Requirements

• Family Medicine trained primary care physician
• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Delaware
• Experience in a primary care setting
• Ability to supervise clinical staff
• Willingness to participate in telehealth
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
