About The Position
ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a dedicated Family Medicine trained primary care physician to join our growing practice in Hockessin, Delaware. This role involves leading a team of 2 physicians and 2 NPs. The patient demographics include Internal Medicine for patients over 18 years old and Family Medicine for all ages. There is an opportunity to build upon the current patient panel, which includes a small pediatric population (age 0+). The position requires 36 patient-facing hours with 4 hours of admin time, including 4 optional telehealth hours. There is flexibility for one virtual day per week by combining admin and telehealth time. The call schedule is shared at 1:10.
Requirements
- Family Medicine trained primary care physician
- Ability to lead a team of 2 physicians and 2 NPs
- Experience with patients over 18 years old (Internal Medicine)
- Experience with all ages (Family Medicine)
- Willingness to build upon current patient panel including a small pediatric population
- 36 patient facing hours required
- 4 hours admin time included
- 4 optional telehealth hours included
- Ability to work one virtual day per week
- Shared call schedule of 1:10
