About The Position

In this role, you'll lead a two-person parts team, own day-to-day inventory management for your location, and work directly with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly — all while continuing to support customers with the same hands-on service Penn Power Group is known for.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team (overseeing a team of 2)
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems or equivalent
  • Experience in Parts Receiving and Processing
  • Experience in Kitting Parts and Issue to Techs
  • Experience in Transacting Inventory Movements
  • Experience in Parts Inventory Cycle Counting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong servicing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Strong telephone skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a lead, supervisor, or point person on a parts or warehouse team
  • Experience in opening, reviewing, communicating status to customer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Coordinating skills to communicate activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead a two-person parts team
  • Own day-to-day inventory management for your location
  • Work directly with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly
  • Support customers with hands-on service
  • Delegate daily tasks and help resolve day-to-day issues for the parts team
  • Manage parts inventory accuracy, stock levels, and cycle count outcomes
  • Work with the General Manager on parts operations, staffing needs, and process improvements
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the company's services, pricing, dates repairs will be completed, adjustments to bills/repair orders, etc.
  • Promote and sell the company's services
  • Assess customer needs and promote alternative products and services
  • Coordinate activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs
  • Create Work Orders and Purchase Orders in a systems environment
  • Perform Parts Receiving and Processing
  • Kitting Parts and Issue to Techs
  • Transact Inventory Movements
  • Perform Parts Inventory Cycle Counting
  • Perform tasks that require sound judgment and the ability to guide others through routine and non-routine situations
  • Open, review, and communicate status to customers
  • Communicate activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs
