Green Home Solutions of Mount Airy is seeking an experienced Lead Mold Remediation Technician / Crew Lead for its team in Mount Airy, Maryland. This hands-on leadership role guides a crew in providing mold remediation services for residential and commercial customers. The work includes inspection, containment, remediation, treatment application, equipment operation, job-site safety, customer communication, and documentation. Green Home Solutions provides mold remediation and indoor air quality services in Central Maryland. Requirements

Prior experience in mold remediation, water damage restoration, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and independently manage job-site operations.
Knowledge of mold remediation protocols, containment procedures, and EPA guidelines.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, crawling, and working in confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

IICRC certification, such as WRT or AMRT.
ACAC certification, such as CRIE or CIE.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise mold remediation crews at residential and commercial job sites.
Perform mold inspections, set up containment, and complete remediation procedures according to industry standards.
Apply EPA-registered antimicrobial treatments using proper application techniques.
Operate and maintain remediation equipment, including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums.
Ensure job-site safety, appropriate PPE use, and compliance with OSHA and industry regulations.
Communicate professionally with customers, explain the remediation process, and address concerns.
Accurately complete job documentation, checklists, and post-remediation reports.
