About The Position

The Lift Experience Team provides guests and employees with a seamless experience from the lift maze entrance through unloading. The Lead Lift Experience employee is responsible for safe resort lift operations, overseeing Lift Experience Team employees, and delivering courteous and efficient guest service while demonstrating leadership. This is a winter seasonal position for 2026/2027, with full-time hours available. Shifts are 8–10 hours per day, and weekend and holiday work may be needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1–2 years of previous lift or mountain operations experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Physically capable of assisting guests while loading lifts and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Fluent English communication skills.
Able to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather and stand and move throughout the shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead daily resort lift operations, including scheduling staff and establishing procedures for opening and closing lifts.
Assist with hiring, supporting, and training lift operators and scanners in daily operations and safety.
Monitor and document lift operator performance and behavior, provide feedback and direction, and recognize or correct performance as appropriate.
Maintain current knowledge of and enforce applicable laws, policies, and procedures to ensure guest safety.
Work with ski patrol, mountain safety, lift maintenance, and lift electric teams to help resolve problems on the mountain.
Promote clean and organized workstations.
Assess guest questions, comments, and complaints and provide timely resolutions.
Take on additional training to support ticket scanning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
