Guillaume Counseling Services, P.C. is seeking an independently licensed mental health professional for a specialized assessment role in its outpatient behavioral health practice in Portland, Oregon. The Clinical Assessor conducts comprehensive clinical assessments, establishes diagnoses, determines medical necessity, develops initial individualized treatment plans, and helps clients connect with appropriate ongoing services. The position emphasizes diagnostic evaluation, sound clinical judgment, culturally responsive care, thorough documentation, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams. Despite the “Lead” designation, the role does not involve routine staff supervision or an ongoing psychotherapy caseload. This is a full-time, hourly W-2 position with a projected start date in 2027. The first 90 days are part-time, at 20–29 hours per week; afterward, the schedule transitions to 30–40 hours per week. The hybrid arrangement is primarily in person, with approved remote work, and requires in-person assessments in the Portland metropolitan area. Availability is needed on weekdays, with some evening or Saturday availability depending on client needs. Initial assessments are generally scheduled in two-hour blocks, with additional paid time for related coordination, consultation, meetings, training, documentation, and administrative responsibilities. Compensation is $52–$64 per hour, depending on licensure, qualifications, and applicable differentials. Regular rates are $52–$60; culturally specific rates are $54–$62; and bilingual rates are $56–$64. Benefits and professional support include medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible full-time employees; paid sick leave under Oregon requirements; retirement savings through OregonSaves and a 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility; professional liability coverage; flexible scheduling; paid training and structured onboarding; ongoing consultation and professional development; and administrative and technology support. Candidates must have an active, unrestricted Oregon clinical license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or another independently licensed mental health professional authorized to perform the duties, as well as a master’s degree or higher in a qualifying clinical discipline. Strong assessment, diagnostic, treatment-planning, documentation, and collaboration skills are required. Spanish-English or Haitian Creole-English bilingual proficiency and experience providing culturally specific services to African American individuals and families are preferred, but not required. Applicants are asked to submit a resume and cover letter describing their licensure, assessment experience, diagnostic expertise, relevant qualifications, and interest in the role.
