About The Position

Guillaume Marriage and Family Counseling of California, P.C. is seeking an experienced, independently licensed mental health clinician for its Sacramento team. This hybrid, hourly W-2 position focuses on comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, determining medical necessity, and developing initial treatment plans for clients entering outpatient behavioral health services. It is assessment-focused rather than a position centered on ongoing psychotherapy or clinical supervision; after assessment and treatment planning, clients are generally transferred to an assigned treating clinician. The role serves children, adolescents, adults, and older adults and requires culturally responsive clinical practice and regular in-person work at the Sacramento office. Approved remote administrative work is also available. Applicants must live within approximately 30–45 minutes' driving distance of the office. The projected start date is 2027. Work begins part-time, approximately 20–29 hours weekly during the first 90 days, with an anticipated move to 30–40 hours per week after onboarding depending on organizational needs. Full-time hours and projected earnings are not guaranteed. Candidates need weekday business-hours flexibility for meetings, training, consultation, and other assigned activities. All required work time is compensated. Compensation is $52–$64 per hour, including a $2-per-hour lead responsibility differential. Applicable rates vary by qualifications and verified regular, culturally specific, or bilingual credentials. Estimated earnings depend on hours worked, referral volume, and organizational needs. The position includes comprehensive assessment and documentation work, clinical coordination, and collaboration with treating clinicians, intake personnel, and leadership. The assessor supports continuity of care, accurate diagnoses, appropriate service matching, and quality improvement while maintaining clear boundaries between assessment and ongoing treatment responsibilities.
