Requirements

  • A background in law, with experience at a top-tier firm, in-house legal team, or legal tech environment.
  • Direct people management experience, including hiring, developing, and performance-managing a team in a client-facing or delivery environment.
  • Senior experience delivering complex client implementations or programmes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Product-savvy and tech-curious, with a strong grasp of generative AI and legal workflows.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder and programme management skills, with the ability to influence priorities and navigate high-stakes conversations.
  • Ability to bring structure to complexity, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and focus on outcomes over perfection.

Responsibilities

  • Leading enterprise-level pilots and implementations across multiple stakeholders and products, from discovery through go-live, with clear success metrics.
  • Owning priority client use cases end-to-end, shaping scalable onboarding and implementation frameworks.
  • Acting as a senior thought partner to clients, building trusted relationships with partners, legal ops, and innovation leaders.
  • Delivering executive-level demos, workshops, and presentations, clearly articulating value and handling complex objections.
  • Influencing internal teams (Product, Go-to-Market, Customer Success) on implementation strategy, setup, and handover.
  • Representing the voice of the customer, surfacing product gaps with evidence and driving them through to resolution.
  • Building and refining team processes, systems, and operating rhythms that scale delivery quality and team effectiveness as the Legal Engineering function grows.
  • Providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development support to drive individual and team growth.
  • Managing and developing a team of Legal Engineers, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance standards.
  • Leading hiring efforts for the Legal Engineering team, helping to attract and onboard top talent.
