About The Position

National Vision is a large optical retail company with over 1,100 stores across the United States, operating brands such as America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses and Eyeglass World. The optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX is expanding and seeking an experienced Lead Lab Technician to join their team. This position is full-time with a 3-day work schedule, offering 3 days on and 4 days off, with specific shift options available (2A: Sundays-Tuesdays, 3:30pm - 4:00am; 2B: Wednesdays-Fridays, 3:30pm - 4:00am). The role includes a base pay, a 10% shift differential, and bi-weekly bonus opportunities, along with a generous PTO plan and other benefits.

Requirements

Prior relevant experience is necessary.
Minimum of one (1) year of direct or related experience.
Must be able to read and write English.

Nice To Haves

Prior optical background with mass production experience desired.

Responsibilities

Processing orders through production.
Proficiently performing all tasks within a department.
Assisting a Supervisor with workflow, efficient utilization of personnel, and department operations.
