About The Position
National Vision is seeking experienced optical lab technicians to join their growing manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. This role involves operating and monitoring optical equipment, identifying and resolving production issues, ensuring proper lens coating and optical standards, and assisting with workflow and team support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume, fast-paced optical manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Prior optical production experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year direct experience in a related role.
- Must be able to read and write English.

- Familiarity with high-volume, optical manufacturing in a fast-paced, mass production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform many tasks within or across departments to achieve production goals in processing job orders through production.
- Operate and monitor optical equipment and machinery.
- Quickly identify production issues and resolve errors.
- Observe workflow and ensure proper lens coating and optical standards.
- Locate hot jobs and handle breakage.
- Assist Lead with other associates and department issues.
