About The Position

Toolworks is a human service agency that partners with people with disabilities and provides resources and programs promoting independence, equality, and personal satisfaction. The Lead Janitor-II works in a supportive environment for people with disabilities, providing on-site support to individuals while completing cleaning and maintenance tasks according to contract and customer specifications. The role is based in the San Francisco and Marin area and reports to the Project Manager. Compensation is $21.81–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience in office cleaning, or desire for training in sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and general cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Physically capable of lifting 25 pounds.
• Available to work flexible shifts.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license; must be able to drive as part of job duties.
• Must meet Ability One program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support people with disabilities at the job site to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Perform cleaning duties, including mopping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and waste removal.
• Maintain and upkeep the assigned site as required by its location.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Complete special projects as directed by the Supervisor/Coach.
• Drive as part of job duties.
• Perform other duties as required.
