About The Position

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Lead Janitor to coordinate employees who clean and maintain commercial and industrial premises, including dry and cold environments. This is a part-time evening position paying $15 per hour, with weekly pay. On-the-job training will be provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of experience in a janitorial-type position.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak, read, and write multiple languages fluently.
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
• Oversee employees performing floor and carpet care.
• Issue supplies and equipment.
• Perform janitorial staff duties.
• Appraise employee performance.
• Address customer complaints and resolve problems.
