About The Position

This role is for a Low-Voltage Installation Technician/Foreman who is trustworthy, eager to learn and grow, hands-on, technically inclined, enjoys leading teams, and is curious about how things work. The position requires experience on construction sites, the ability to use tools and climb ladders, a steady work history, and a pleasant disposition with high emotional intelligence. The job is located at 1300 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070, and is an in-person role, not remote or hybrid. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role reports to the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
• Pleasant disposition, High EQ

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Advanced understanding of networks
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Supervise & Mentor Techs/Apprentices
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain schedule and ensure execution
• Oversee Job Site Safety
• Ensure proper project closeout and deliverables
