About The Position
We are seeking a Low-Voltage Installation Technician who is trustworthy, eager to learn and grow, hands-on, and technically inclined. This role is ideal for someone who prefers fieldwork over desk work and has a curious nature about how things operate. The position involves working on construction sites, climbing ladders, pulling cabling, and using various tools. A steady work history of at least 3 years between jobs, a pleasant disposition, and high emotional intelligence are essential.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- A pleasant disposition
- High EQ
Nice To Haves
- AV Installation (Resi & Commercial)
- Security Installation
- Low-Voltage Cable Pulling
- Managed Services (MSP) - If you can install!
- Electrician (HV or LV)
Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks (TVs, Speakers, WAPs, Cameras)
- Troubleshooting of devices
