About The Position
This role is for an Installation Technician and Programmer focusing on high-end residential Audio/Visual, lighting, shading, and control systems. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, eager to learn and grow, hands-on, technically inclined, and curious about how things work. Experience on construction sites, the ability to perform physical tasks like climbing ladders, pulling cabling, and using tools, a steady work history, and a pleasant disposition with high emotional intelligence are essential.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ
- Mid-Level to Advanced understanding of networks
- Mid-Level to Advanced troubleshooting of devices
Nice To Haves
- Lower Skills or No Programming = Lower Pay
Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Mid-Level to Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Mid-Level to Advanced understanding of networks
- Mid-Level to Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Programming (Crestron, Savant, Control4, Lutron Q-Sys)
