About The Position

Maintain the building to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors. Provide direction and support to the Housekeeping Team. The role supervises housekeeping staff and operations, including guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, while supporting cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety, and inventory control.

Requirements

Housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to move throughout the building, bend, stoop, and reach to assist other staff members when needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Responsibilities

Supervise housekeeping staff by providing open communication, training, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback to support maximum efficiency.
Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, communicate openly, and recommend discipline or termination when appropriate.
Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back-of-house spaces; ensure compliance with accident and loss prevention programs and health and sanitation standards and regulations.
Issue staff assignments, reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to support smooth housekeeping operations.
Issue supplies and goods to staff at the beginning of shifts to control inventory, ensure supplies are available, and control expenses.
Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to support guest satisfaction.
Log items into Lost and Found and respond to inquiries to maintain controls and guest satisfaction.
Implement emergency training and procedures to protect the hotel, guests, staff, and company assets.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
