About The Position

Monograph is a firm performance management platform for architecture and engineering practices. Firms use Monograph to make quick and confident decisions about budgeting and resources to drive their practices forward. This role will connect prospect and customer data spread across many systems, reduce manual work, and build automated workflows that improve how Monograph and Total Synergy acquire, convert, and retain customers. We are looking for someone who understands how revenue teams work and can personally build the systems they need. You will identify revenue problems, test practical solutions, and measure the results. Commercial first. Diagnose the revenue problem before selecting a tool or designing a workflow. Build to learn. Test ideas quickly and invest further only when they show value. Own outcomes. Judge each project by the revenue, customer, or productivity outcome it improves.

Requirements

  • You understand how B2B revenue teams work and can turn a business problem into a reliable production workflow.
  • You communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical teams and focus on measurable commercial outcomes.
  • 4+ years in GTM Engineering, RevOps, Marketing Ops, Growth Engineering, business systems, data automation, or a related field, with examples of systems you personally built.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B SaaS funnels, CRM, marketing automation, lead and account management, sales workflows, and customer retention.
  • Hands-on experience designing multi-system workflows with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, n8n, Make, Zapier, Workato, or comparable tools.
  • Working fluency with APIs, webhooks, JSON, SQL, data transformation, and AI-assisted scripting in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Experience using LLMs or AI agents for GTM workflows, with controls for quality, privacy, errors, and human review.
  • Ability to define requirements, explain tradeoffs, and work across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • A track record of measuring adoption and business impact, not just shipping automations or implementing tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in vertical SaaS, ideally architecture and engineering software.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize GTM problems by working with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and CX to follow the customer journey from first interaction through renewal and identify missed leads, slow handoffs, lost data, and repetitive manual work.
  • Prioritize GTM engineering projects based on revenue impact, benefit to the GTM team, effort, and risk.
  • Connect data across Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Gong, websites, product, support, and billing systems using integrations, APIs, and automation tools.
  • Build workflows that clean, enrich, deduplicate, match, and sync lead, opportunity, and customer data across systems.
  • Work with RevOps and system owners to standardize data fields, permissions, lifecycle rules, and integrations.
  • Use first- and third-party data to identify high-fit prospects, deals at risk, and customers likely to churn or expand.
  • Improve how leads are scored and prioritized, and how contacts are categorized and matched to accounts.
  • Use AI for research, summarization, classification, and personalization when it produces a better result than standard automation.
  • Build and test new workflows using automation tools, AI-assisted development, SQL, and lightweight code.
  • Test workflows with real users and data before launch, including permissions, edge cases, and failure scenarios.
  • Own workflows from launch through monitoring, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Document current performance and define a clear success metric before launching each workflow, then track adoption and business results after launch.
  • Use testing and performance data to improve, scale, or stop workflows.
  • Train users, gather feedback, and document the process so successful workflows become part of day-to-day work.
