Lead Foodservice Team Member
About The Position
The Lead Foodservice Team Member leads by example, supports the team, and helps deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service. The role helps keep food service operations running smoothly while ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready to serve. It is a full-time opportunity in a 24/7 store environment, with a starting pay range of $16.00–$18.00 per hour. The position reinforces Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations, supports Team Member orientation and training, and helps ensure food is prepared properly and safely. The Lead Foodservice Team Member prepares and cooks Maverik Bonfire food items according to recipes and maintains appealing food displays. Applicants must be at least 18 and obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.
Requirements

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Schedule flexibility, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
- Conduct orientation and training for Team Members and help ensure proper and safe food preparation.
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
- Prepare and cook Maverik Bonfire food items according to recipes.
- Maintain enticing food displays.
- Help keep food service operations running smoothly and the kitchen clean, organized, and ready to serve.
- Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
