About The Position

The Lead Food Service Team Member leads by example, supports the team, and helps deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service. This role helps keep food service operations running smoothly and the kitchen clean, organized, and ready to serve. The Lead Food Service Team Member reinforces Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations, trains Team Members in proper and safe food preparation, serves customers, and prepares and displays Maverik Bonfire food items according to company recipes.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.
• Must be flexible to work potentially nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to perform the listed physical activities, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
• Conduct orientation and training for Team Members, ensuring proper and safe food preparation.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for customers.
• Prepare and cook Maverik Bonfire food items according to recipes.
• Maintain enticing food displays.
• Help keep food service operations running smoothly and the kitchen clean, organized, and ready to serve.
