About The Position

The Lead Food Service Team Member leads by example, supports the team, and helps deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service. The role keeps food service operations running smoothly while ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready to serve. It helps bring Maverik’s food and customer experience to life while building leadership skills and creating a memorable customer experience. The position is full-time, with a starting pay range of $17.33–$19.33 per hour. Team members must be at least 18 years old and obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction. The schedule must be flexible for a 24/7 store and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Must have schedule flexibility, including the possibility of working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
Conduct orientation and training for Team Members, ensuring proper and safe food preparation.
Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
Prepare and cook Maverik Bonfire food items according to recipes.
Maintain enticing food displays.
Help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready to serve.
Support teammates and help food service operations run smoothly.
